First 100 Days

Since taking over as the WSBA President in January, there has been allot to learn in the organization. While the WSBA does run pretty smoothly, there are aspects coming from the perspective of racing over the past 10 years, to really realize the effort needed to have racing in Washington State.

As with non-profit organizations, the people involved truly have passion for giving back. There are many people involved who love cycling and are committed to seeing it grow. Without those people, racing wouldn't excist in Washington State.

As to the things I have learned in the WSBA, there will be areas where input is needed to continue growing the sport. This will involve bringing a more formal process to operating the WSBA, getting input from all teams, respresentation in the WSBA operations from areas outside of the Seattle area and building relationships with other cycling orgranizations.

Thanks to all those who have contacted me directly with feedback and support. As always, feel free to contact me with questions or comments.

Live to Ride with Passion!
